Dirty Little Secret by Kendall Ryan *arc review*
Release Day: September 14th 2017
The start to a sexy new series from New York Times bestselling author, Kendall Ryan... She’s much too innocent for me, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting the sweet, young librarian. I’m dominating and possessive, and my control streak runs a mile wide. The way she looks at me—like I’m one of the heroes in the books she loves, like I’m broken, and she wants to be the one to piece me back together—it only complicates things further. I’m nobody’s hero. But there’s no denying my tragic past reads like one of her favorite literary classics. It’s raw. Visceral. Captivating. And together, we’re a perfect mess. How can I resist when the sexual sparks zapping between us set me on fire? The need to control, and claim her force my walls to come tumbling down, but when she learns about my dirty little secret, will my world come crashing down with it? The story continues in Dirty Little Promise, releasing October 30.
My review:
✦✦✦ 4.5 Stars ✦✦✦ I have read quite a few of Kendall Ryan's novels, and I must say Dirty Little Secret is quite different from her usual work. Now that doesn't mean I don't like her cute, fluffy angsty reads.....but Dirty Little Secret was on a whole new level. This story is filled with raw intense passion, deep dark secrets, and a whole lot of angst, that will make your toes curl! Gavin Kingsley is a man of many secrets. Tall, dark, and handsome, he is living the high life. Money, sex, power. Along side his brothers, Quinn and Cooper, they own a company where you can fulfill any of your desires. When Gavin and Emma meet fireworks are a blazing! But Emma needs money, and fast. In order to save her grandmother's home.....Let's just say, Gavin knows just what to do. What he doesn't expect is that Copper also has a thing for the sweet, innocent little librarian. Who could possible win her heart? Kendall Ryan slayed this book. I was hooked from start to finish, and the end left me desperately wanting more! Dirty Little Secret was one of my top reads of this year, it's dark, mysterious, and an erotic tale that everyone should read.
